Whole Goose - Rancher’s Recipe

Instructions

  1. Set oven at 450°
  2. Wash trim and access fat
  3. Remove giblets and neck
  4. Rub Olive Oil over entire goose
  5. Season with Salt, Pepper, Lemon juice (1 whole lemon), and garlic powder
  6. Add water and better than bouillon chicken flavor to bottom of roaster for gravy
  7. Roast uncovered at 450° for 1/2 hour
  8. Get gravy from roaster and pour over goose
  9. Cover and cook for an additional 2 hours at 350°
